This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Sherry Krzyzowski.

These angora mittens are the height of luxury! So soft and so fluffy, they will keep your hands warm on even the coldest of days. There is an optional beaded pattern on the back of the hand (the beaded pattern is charted for bead placement; the rest of the instructions for the mitten are written instructions). If the beads are omitted, this would make a perfect lining for a larger mitten for double-layered warmth. The beads add a touch of glam for any wintery formal event! Match your beads to your yarn for a subtle effect, or choose a contrasting colour so they really POP! The beads are pre-strung onto the yarn (20 beads for each mitten), and the chart indicates where to place them in your knitting. Full instructions for how to place beads and how to pre-string beads are included in the pattern.

The top of the mitten can be shaped using “traditional” mitten shaping (making a slightly pointed mitten top), and an optional, alternate rounded-top mitten shaping is provided.
