Who doesn’t need an elephant on top of their pencil or pen?

These little guys are so quick to knit and that makes them perfect for stalls or fetes. I have made an elephant, frog, rabbit, dog, teddy bear, koala and pig but with different coloured bodies and ear shapes you can make any animal you want.

They are knitted on 2 needles with 8 ply (DK) yarn so even a beginner can make them. They are about 6cm (2 1/2”) high. Due to the size I do not recommend these for children under 3 years of age.
