Anise is a two-looped crochet cowl worked flat, side to side, then joined in the last row. The stitch pattern, which mimics knit garter stitch, uses just one basic crochet stitch: single crochet.

Materials:

  • Yarn: Superwash Merino by Artesano, DK/8 ply, 100% merino, 122yd (112m) per 50g skein, 1 skein of 0157 White, 3 skeins of SFN21 Biscuit
  • Crochet hook: US J (6mm)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends

Gauge:
10 sts and 12 rows = 4” (10cm) x 4” (10cm)

Finished Size (blocked):
