These slippers are knit from the cuff down, flat, on size 10 (6 mm) circular knitting needles in many adult men and ladies sizes using 120-160 yards of bulky weight yarn (or doubled worsted weight). They begin with ribbing for the cuff and change to garter stitch for the sides and bottom. A Russian garter stitch graft is used on the bottom to form an almost invisible seam that does not leave a ridge under the foot. Garter stitch invisible seaming is used to close the heel seam. Use a bulky weight yarn that works with a size 10 knitting needle or doubled worsted weight.
