A folklore cardigan combining knitting, sewing and crocheting.

There is a worn-out cliché describing the Finnish folklore as being something “between the east and the west”. Anna-Liisa cardigan isn’t a cliché though, but a charming example of unfragile, vital femininity. A perfect match for a jeans skirt, for example.

You’ll need: 650 grams of sport weight yarn (about 1100-1200 yards)

Needles: 4 mm circulars, 4 mm dpns

Gauge: 26 s= 10 cm / 4 inches

Length 56 cm / 22 inches
Width 93 cm / 36.5 inches
Length of the arm 44 cm / 1.57 inches (note the shortness of sleeve!)
