Annie Gray is a singlet style top that has straps over the shoulder, ribbed bodice that can stretch as your child grows and completed with a flame chevron lace stitch pattern in the skirt.

Options:

  • can omit ribbon tie at bodice
  • singlet style or dress
  • straps can be plainly attached or use buttons or ribbon. Choice is yours.

Yarn Requirements:
Wool is recommended. Cotton can also be used for a light summer top although there is less stretch in the yarn. I would suggest to use a cotton/wool mix yarn so the bodice holds shape.

8ply/DK yarn - will provide a looser fabric in the skirt and nice drape.
10ply/light worsted - this ply will make the garment thicker but still drape well.
Solid or semi solid yarn would be best to show the lace pattern.
