This fun little hat is meant to celebrate Yarn’s 10th year anniversary. Since stranded colorwork is my favorite kind of knitting, why not make it my first pattern, too?

Knit in the round with 5 neutral colors and one splash color in a sport weight yarn, the hat starts with corrugated ribbing and flows into 4 colorwork patterns with plain stockinette rows in between. I like a snug fitting hat that hits mid-ear. If you prefer a looser fit, try knitting to a bigger gauge, or use a DK weight yarn.
