This is a fabulous way to use self patterning yarn such as Sirdar’s Crofter DK - it is a simple design - seamless and top down. Anouk has a straight neckline requiring no shaping and the buttonbands are knitted at the same time to keep the design seamless.

Skill level is easy - if you can knit, purl and make a simple cable over 2 sts, you can knit this. Should you encounter any difficulties, support is available directly from me via email.

You will need 2 - 4 balls of DK yarn dependent on size, 4mm circular knitting needles, 4 stitch markers and 3 buttons 1.5 cm in diametre.

The inspiration for the name came from one of my favourite books - Chocolat by Joanna Harris.
