Anrietta the Clown Doll

A crochet doll pattern (abbreviated style pattern with key).
Written in UK terms

I would class this pattern as easy, the stitches used are basic, however beginners may struggle with some of the sewing and smaller pieces.

The amount of yarn used per colour isnt usually more than 60g each (for the cream and for the white), the rest of the colours use 25g or less - these numbers are approximate so may differ slightly depending on what yarn you use etc.

Gauge is unimportant, however the original pattern was created using DK acrylic yarn, and a 3mm hook (which will give you a doll that stands at approx 11 inches tall).

Other Skills: This pattern requires some blanket Stitch along some edges, this can be replaced with dc if preferred.

What you will need;
Yarn: Colours required; Cream, white, bright pink, green (pastel), blue (pastel), purple(pastel), light grey, 2 shades of orange, and a small amount of black for the eyes.
Crochet hook: Any size as long as it produces tight stitches to hold the stuffing.
Tapestry Needle (for sewing up)
Polyester Fibre filling for the stuffing.
Safety Eyes (optional - depending on preference for the eyes)

Stitches Used in pattern: (UK terms) Chain Stitch, Double Crochet, Double increase, Double Decrease,
Blanket Stitch (sewing stitch)

Time: Doll takes on average between 10-16 hours to complete
