When I lived in southern California, because of the high temperature, we cannot feel the spring. At the end of March, our family would go to Antelope Valley to see the poppies to feel the spring. When we saw the whole mountain covered by poppies, we know, weather you can feel or not, spring is always there, the poppies, the air, the sunbeams…..they are claiming the coming of spring. Time flies, & I left California 5 years ago! I still miss California from time to time. So, I design this blanket for the memory of California.
