This is the fifth and final pattern in the Opera Season II Collection. It is based on one of the women in Offenbach’s opera, Les Contes d’Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann).

This sweet triangular shawl reflects the delicate and translucent quality of Antonia, the fragile singer with the beautiful voice. Worked in a delicate lacy stitch pattern, it uses stepped increases along both sides to create its shape.

It can be easily sized and adapted to your preference. A top border with short rows adds further shaping so that the shawl sits easily on the shoulders.

The pattern includes instructions for two versions: a shoulderette and a full-sized shawl.
