Antonio's Summer Cappello
Antonio’s Summer Cappello is the second of four seasonal hats in The Four Seasons collection.
It is widely believed, by music historians, that Antonio Vivaldi’s inspiration for The Four Seasons stems from the time he spent as the court chapel master in the gorgeous countryside of Mantua, Italy.
Like its companion, Vivaldi Summer Mitts, this pattern brings to mind a relaxing stroll along a meandering stream.
Knit in a light cotton-linen blend, it is a perfect shade hat on a sunny afternoon.
Knit in wool, it is a cozy, warm, hat for a bright, frosty day.
This cappello is sized to fit an average teen/adult head 21-23 inches/53-58cm.
Knit in DK yarn in either one or two colors for brim and underbrim, with a flat i-cord hatband that is tied in back allowing you to create the perfect fit.
For a Single Color Hat
220 yards + 30-45 yards for hatband
For a Two Color Hat
160 yards Color A + 60 yards Color B + 30-45 yards for hatband
Antonio’s Summer Cappello has been test knit.
