Anxiety Monster
The Real Monsters were created by Toby Allen, imagining the monsters behind mental health conditions in humans. Cute yet sinister, it’s easy to imagine this creature hiding under the stairs.
The Anxiety Monster knitting pattern brings his design to life.
Knitted with chunky wool, the pattern comes out around 40cm tall; ensure you use spiky brown wool to capture its tense, bristling alertness.
You will also need some embroidery threads to add detail to the mask, and some stiff felt or other stiff fabric to create a face mask and optional clock.
Included in the pattern is a brief newb knitters guide, with notes on how to find the right wool and get started, and some assembly illustrations.
