this easy pattern was developed following the popularity of the three dozen apple bag... which is worked on a 20.0mm hook

this version is worked on a 10.0mm hook… I have used jute, but it would work equally as well using a bulky cotton (or a couple of strands of DK cotton worked together) or even fabric strips

experiment with different materials :)
