This pattern is a Shawl designed for men in mind , and done by a man. It may be worn by anyone who desires to wear it, but keep in mind that is is made with a guy in mind. What makes a Shawl a man shawl versus a woman’s shawl? This garment to me is a man’s shawl, yet I can see a woman wearing it without any hesitation. If left unblocked and made longer it can make a nice dense scarf, but it will require a lot more yarn than the yarn allocated for it here.

The most important part of this pattern is to feel free to use any color you feel is to your liking and any fiber that is to your liking. I want to thank my Friend Naomi for her keen help, and the inspiration of my Ravelry Group BSGFPB. I also want to give thanks to the Men Knitting Retreats for their continued support of Men in the Craft of Knitting.

The whole process of making a lace project is to block it to shape. It is amazing how the project changes from the knit version to the blocked version. Have fun!
