Any weight yarn can be used with this pattern as long as you use a needle size that is 1 - 2 sizes smaller than the smallest needle size listed on the yarn label. Whatever is comfortable for you to knit with and results in a dense fabric. you want your stuff’in to stay on the inside ☺

Examples:
Worsted - use US 5 or 6
DK - use US 2 or 3
Sport/Fingering - use US 0 -1
