A fun gift for teachers or anyone who likes both apples and writing things by hand!

This pattern was written for a jar 2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. Size can be adjusted for larger or smaller jars, but this size jar seems to work well for holding writing implements and having a nicely shaped apple. Leave a comment if you have sizing questions, and I’ll do my best to help you out.

You’ll need a jar to work the apple around. Stuffing is needed to give apple shape. A yarn needle is recommended for weaving in ends and attaching leaves.

Guage is not very important for this project.

Uses less than one skein.
