About the pattern:

Both a UK and a US version PDF will be available for download. This pattern is 14 pages and the written instructions are accompanied with 29 photographs and 2 illustrations.

Sizing:

With a 7mm hook the finished product will measure approx. 26cm / 10 2/8 inch high and 28cm / 11inch wide.

US: If a 7mm crochet hook is not available, the next best size is K-10.5, but this will result in a smaller gauge/product.

Skill level:

Easy. This pattern consists of basic crochet stitches.
US stitches = magic loop, ss, chain, sc, hdc, dc, tr, dtr & hdc2tog.
UK stitches = magic loop, ss, chain, dc, htr, tr, dtr, ttr & htr2tog.
There is some crochet in ‘front loop only’ (FLO) with invisible decreases and some shaping, both explained in detail.

Tools and Materials:

None of the following is included:

• Single stranded super chunky/bulky yarn, with at least 50% wool content, in Green or Red, Contrasting Green and Brown. Eg. Drops Snow (previously Eskimo), Conway & Bliss Odin Chunky or Cloudborn Superwash Merino Bulky.
• 7mm crochet hook - If not available in the US, K-10.5 is the next best thing, though will result in a slightly smaller product.
• 6mm crochet hook - J/10
• Scissors
• Darning Needle/Tapestry Needle
• Stitch markers
• Pliers (optional)
