A favourite yarn (Fleece Artist BFL 2/8) and a favourite Anatolian Motif in my favourite colours!

Apple is a shawl knitted circularly with steeks (eek! - not so bad - try it!) until you reach the border and then it is knitted back and forth.

Because the background yarn is knitted up faster than the motif yarn, there is lots of room for an accent border to top (bottom) it all off.

Background is Ebony and the accent colour is Boreal.

Apple Slices are mimicked by a Quilt Stitch (Barbara Walker’s Treasuries).

And did I mention how wonderful the Fleece Artist Blue Faced Leicester 2/8 is? My desert island yarn.
