A ruching stitch created with alternating needle sizes offers a funky quilted effect in this light weight layer. It’s an easy one-piece knit with a simple snap tape closure.

MATERIALS
• Blue Sky Techno (50g/120yds): 5 (6, 6, 8, 9) hanks
• Size 7 (4.5mm) 32” circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Size 10½ (6.5mm) 32” circular needle, or 4 sizes larger than size needed to obtain gauge
• Waste yarn
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holders
• Tapestry needle
• 1 yard ¾” wide snap tape in
matching color
• Sewing needle and matching thread

To fit bust sizes 31–35 (35–39, 40–44, 44–48, 49–53)”

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust: 32¾ (37¼, 41¾, 46¼, 50¾)”, snapped
Length: 18½ (18½, 19, 22¼, 22¾)”
GAUGE
In Stockinette stitch and using smaller needle, 14 sts and 32 rows = 4”
In Stockinette stitch and using smaller needle, 20 sts = 4” measured over Rows 1-8 of Ruching Pattern.
In Stockinette stitch and using larger needle, 12 sts = 4” measured over Rows 9-14 of Ruching Pattern.
Needle size required may vary depending on color of Techno chosen, please check your gauge.
