This blanket was designed for an April baby shower. It is fully reversible.

The prototype was knit in pink cotton, three thread-like strands held together, and is approximately 32” by 32” and took 430 yards. The pattern is garter stitch and lace, and the stitches used are: knit, yo, k2tog, and kfb.

Any yarn and suitably sized needle will work, with superwash or washable yarns recommended (for babies and their parents). The blanket is worked from one corner until your desired size is reached, or half your yarn is used. Following this, decreases are worked to the opposite corner.
