Buy my newest pattern, Aqua Links Shawlette, now through the end of the day Wednesday, September 9 U.S. Pacific Time, and pick out any one of my other patterns for free. Use coupon code “Aqua” at checkout to receive discount. Cables and Lace links gracefully twist their way down this triangular shawl. It is knit from the bottom up. It has no bottom border, so the focus is entirely on the all-over cables and lace pattern. I knit in fingering weight yarn, and it has excellent drapability. It took 610 yards to knit, and I used 2 skeins of Madelinetosh’s Tosh Merino Light Merino Wool yarn (420 yards per skein) in the shade of Mica. The shawl is 6 feet in length, and is 27 inches at its center deepest point. This pattern would also work well in any weight yarn between fingering and worsted. Complete written instructions with row counts, and a chart are included in the pattern.
