It has no bottom border, so the focus is entirely on the all-over cables and lace pattern. I knit in fingering weight yarn, and it has excellent drapability. It took 610 yards to knit, and I used 2 skeins of Madelinetosh’s Tosh Merino Light Merino Wool yarn (420 yards per skein) in the shade of Mica. The shawl is 6 feet in length, and is 27 inches at its center deepest point. This pattern would also work well in any weight yarn between fingering and worsted.
