These mittens feature stranded knitting, and long floats carried in the thumb. The pattern is easy to memorize.

An even tension is necessary, especially for the long floats, so be sure to check out your strands as you carry the contrasting yarn across the inside of the thumb.

These mittens are snug on my hands, so if you want roomier mittens, you can add a pattern to the rounds, and adjust accordingly, or use larger needles to accomplish the same. For smaller hands, remove one pattern repeat, and shorten the mitten as necessary.

Only one pattern size with stitches is offered, so you will need to adjust as you wish.
