This is designed to be a smooshable, cushy sock for lounging around the house and keeping your feet warm in bed, but if you want a denser, more durable sock you may choose to knit a larger size on smaller needles. This is knit cuff down, you control the length of the foot.

Yarn and Needles:
Any worsted weight yarn and needle combination that gets you the suggested gauge. I like a Superwash yarn like Cascade 220 Superwash. At 100 grams and 220 yards, you’ll only need one skein for a pair of socks. I used a US size 5 (3.75 mm) needle.

Stitches and Techniques Used:
k – knit
p – purl
k2tog – knit 2 together
ssk – slip slip knit
P2tog – purl 2 together
C4F – 4 stitch left crossing cable
CFB – 4 stitch right crossing cable
M1 – make one

You can use whichever knitting method you like best – double points, two circs, or magic loop on one circ. Instructions are divided by sole stitches and instep stitches, distribute them however you like on your needles and use stitch markers if you need them.
