Aran Cable and Lace Scarf
A little cable and a little lace make this scarf interesting to knit and wonderful to wear. It will become your favorite scarf! Perfect for those who would like to learn how to knit cables. The finished scarf measures about 6” x 50” and is a great addition to your ensemble.
The sample shown is made out of The Fibre Company’s medium weight “Road to China” yarn. “Road to China” is made of 65% Baby Alpaca / 10% Cashmere / 10% Camel / 10% Soya Fiber / 5% Yak and has 80 yards in every 50 gram skein. To complete this scarf to the finished size you will need approximately 240 yards (3 skeins) of this super soft and yummy yarn.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Needles: The needles used with this yarn are US 9 (5.5mm) straights, to obtain a gauge of 18 stitches over 4 inches.
Notions: Cable Needle
