A snuggly textured design using a simple cable stitch to create a wonderfully cosy baby blanket.

You will need approx. 300 grams of self striping or plain Aran baby yarn
(I used Baby Cakes Aran by Cygnet yarns for the self striping effect)

One pair of 7 mm UK size straight knitting needles and a 7 mm cable needle.

This is a very easy pattern with a simple cable stitch, ideal as an introduction to cable knitting.

Approx finished size of blanket 24 x 36 inches.
