An elaborately cabled sweater in heavy worsted, this design includes an oversize collar and side slits with buttons.

  • Three sizes are offered with finished chest measurements of 44 inches (112cm), 46.5 inches (118 cm) and 49.5 inches (126 cm.) Other measurements are provided in the pattern.

  • The bottom of the sweater is knitted flat to provide for the slits and then the body is knit in the round to the armholes and flat again to the top. Sleeves also have slits and are begun flat and then continued in the round. The edges around the slits are crocheted.

  • The sweater is completely charted. A glossary explains the charting symbols.

  • Circular needles, long and short, in both sizes are needed. You will also need a cable needle and a crochet hook US size F (4.0mm). Ten buttons are required.
