Aranea is one of Charlotte’s children in EB White’s classic Charlotte’s Web. Her name came instantly to mind during blocking as I was pinning out the i-cord peaks and the image of a spider’s web emerged.

This is a simple little shawlette, perfect for showcasing a highly variegated yarn. It’s plain stockinette panels are broken up with i-cord ridges - just enough added interest to keep you from getting bored -yet it’s simple enough to work on with divided attention.

Materials:
-400yds of fingering weight yarn (Shown in Ambrosia MCN from Blissful Knits in the colorway Berry Lemoncello)
-US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, 32”
-Stitch Markers (at least 3)
-Tapestry Needle
