“Arans… a bite at a time” - $4.00 – a true sampler vest with sneaky construction… no gauge swatch required to start! I’m real proud of this one… this printing includes the original terminologies (subtly but interestingly different) that are not found in the magazine version. (KNITTERS #16)

This pattern is a sampler of Aran knitting, using no gauge and joined as you go so no seaming. The stitches were adapted from Barbara Walker’s Treasury of Knitting Vol’s 1-2. It seems to be for an intermediate to advanced knitter (or a determined beginner who won’t panic easily). Sizing is based on the measurements that you take, so easily made for any size but looks rather boxy in the illustration. You will need stitch markers, waste yarn, a crochet hook, and some sort of beverage.
