Have you ever seen a gypsy dancing in a colorful flowing skirt that jingles with coins or beads sewn onto the hem? The circle lace hem on this casual skirt reminds me of a free-spirited international traveler. It has a very simple lace pattern that will pop dramatically over a con-trasting skirt or dress. For a dressier Eastern-inspired look, wear it as a halter top over a tunic and leggings. The pattern includes a couple of unusual techniques, including pleats, crochet-inspired circular mo-tif edging, and an incredibly quick openwork pattern. The edging is worked vertically but joined in two different ways for the hem and side of the skirt.
