ARCHA is a deep, crescent-shaped shawl designed
to stay put while accenting shoulders and spine with
an intriguing, alternating lace detail. It is constructed
with 3 spines, creating 4 wedges which evolve into a
textured lace and cable edging. The lace is reminiscent
of the branching juniper foliage. The name Archa is
the Kyrgyz word for juniper, a plant which is common
in the area, and which is traditionally used in family
celebrations and rituals.
