Knit from the top down, Archer socks are worked flat for several rows before being joined in the round. This creates a notch in the cuff that becomes a fletching for an arrow that curves gracefully over the instep. Knit primarily in stockinette with a few extra techniques, this is a perfect sock for a new sock knitter.

This pattern includes both charted and written instructions. Instructions are also provided for adjusting the length of the foot.
