The lace pattern on this cowl and glove set reminds me of the feather fletching on arrows. Zig-zag edges lay beautifully across the shoulders, and frame your face. Tapered cowl is meant to drape in gentle folds for warmth. Elegant gloves are tapered from elbow to wrist.

Sample cowl and gloves (in the photographs) were made from 1 skein of Cascade Heritage sock yarn.

Gauge for the gloves, on sz 5 needles 12st x 14 rows = 2”.
Gauge for the cowl, on sz 6 needles 11st x 13 rows = 2”.
