The yarn used for this pattern holds a very special place in my heart.
This is the first yarn Anna Hunter of Long Way Homestead produced her shetland sheep.

My relationship with Anna goes back almost 10 years to a time where her and myself were
doing antipoverty work and anarchist activist organizing together.
She then opened a radical yarn shop in East Vancouver where
I had the pleasure of working alongside her as her shop manager.

Just over two years ago she followed her heart and moved to Eastern Manitoba, started her farm
(Long Way Homestead) and took up sheep farming.
I was lucky enough to be visiting when she received this yarn from the mill.
I am absolutely in love with it.

I am so very proud of Anna and the work she is doing.
