This arc shaped shaw wraps and drapes wonderfully around the neck and shoulders. Arcshawl uses short rows to create the shape. The shawl is made up of stocking stitch segments that are separated by a garter stitch ridge and so is a super easy introduction to short rows for knitters who have yet to learn this skill.

The gauge is not super important for this garment so don’t worry too much if you don’t achieve it. This shawl can easily be made using thinner or thicker yarns, just be sure to use the appropriate needle size.
