When it’s time to switch from bare feet to something just a wee bit warmer for that walk along the beach,a toe-up sock for cable lovers everywhere! The Instep and Back & Front leg are worked in the cable pattern while the Sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. Short rows are used to shape the heel. The cable pattern extends into the top ribbing which is bound off using Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off. Although Instep and/or Sole stitches may be placed on two needles if using DPNs, in the directions the Sole and Instep needle(s) will be referred to in the singular. Cable pattern is charted.
