Sizing Notes: This hat sizing works well for an infant between 0-6 mos. It has not yet been written in multiple sizes (expected Spring 2015.)

This is a hat pattern that I designed because I couldnโ€™t find what I was looking for when I needed a simple baby hat. There are so many available, but none were โ€œperfectโ€ for what I needed. I love this pattern because itโ€™s so simple and works up in about 4 hours with my slow knitting skills. The instructions are simple and there are no charts.

I’ve done two as gifts and one for my daughter as well and the pattern never fails.

I knit mine using a 40” magic loop. Double pointed needles would also work.
You’ll want a tapestry/yarn needle to weave in ends.

One 3.5 oz skein will easily make 3 of these with a little yarn leftover.
