This skirt pattern is a result of inspiration which came from “Maria” skirt designed by Vanessa Montoro.
Special thanks to Natalie - @Натало4кa on Osinka.ru.

Arielle is a pencil skirt, that is originally made in knees-length, but can be adjusted easily by a maker thanks to guidance in the pattern up to any length desired.
Finished Length: 26’’ or 65 cm.
I used elastic belt to finish the skirt and in the pattern you’ll find instructions on how to make one if you want.

This pattern is calculated for sizes 6-8 / 10-12 /14-16 (USA), or 34-36 /38-40 / 42-44 (EU),
or XS /S-M/L-XL (Int), or 40-42/44-46/48-50 (Rus)
OR measurements:
Waist: 60-70/66-74/74–82 cm or 23 1/2 - 27 1/2 / 26 –29/29-32”
Hips: 86-92/92-100/100-108 cm or 33 4/5 - 36 ¼ / 36 1/4-39 2/5 / 39 2/5-42 1/2”

MATERIALS:
1) 250(250)300 g Fingering (0-Lace weight) yarn/thread that has 340-425 m in 100 g skein (170-210 m in 50 g ball). Fibers are most required - 100% mercerized cotton, plied (4 ply), viscose or silk – any that has 27-32 WPI.
2) Crochet hook size 2.00-2.50 mm/14-12 size UK/ B/1 – C size USA or any to obtain gauge. The bigger hook you use, the less dense the motifs turn out.
3) Wide elastic for the belt (length equals to your waist or larger)

As usual, I give my personal tips and advise on cast on, personal adjustment, blocking, general tips for crocheting, lots of photos, and written interpretation of every line of the chart.

Also pls note that a special stitch used in this pattern required some training and usually after 10-15 stitches you’ll be able to manage with it in a frequent way. That can be achieved by swatching. Also an alternative way of making this stitch is given for your convenience.

Standard American and British terms go into 2 separate files, so you can choose the one you’re used to and go on.

Please, feel free to contact me if any question arises.
