The Waves Collection is a group of 6 patterns from 3 different designers known for their beautiful shawl designs.

Armadale is named after a small village called Armadale on Scotland’s Isle of Skye. It is worked from the centre of the top edge down and out. There is an option to make a nice stretchy upper neck edge by adding a yarn over after the very first stitch of every row (RS and WS) and then drop it again on the following row.

  • 2 skeins in „Grey Pearl“, 90 g / 287 yds [262 m] used for sample
  • 1 skein in „Carnelian”, 45 g / 144 yds [131 m] used for sample
  • 1 skein in „Smokey Quartz”, 44 g / 140 yds [128 m] used for sample
  • 1 skein in „Moonstone”, 45 g / 144 yds [131 m] used for sample

The left-side motif of rows 10-11 in chart 2 needs to be shifted one stitch to the right.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. Please note that the pattern is not fully spelled out - you need to read the charts.
