Tough, brilliant, and knit in the perfect stitch, no knight ever had better armor than Armando. Knit Armando’s body and tail in a simple welted pattern, adding easy feet and ears. Add beads for eyes. If giving to child, do not add beads for eyes but embroider eyes instead.

Like all of the cuddly creatures in this book, Armando can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
