The shrug *Voilà* is rectangular. The back is knitted in rows in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are worked in the round in a rather narrow and short lace pattern. The number of stitches stays the same from one sleeve’s edge to the other.

Around the opening for the body, stitches are picked up to work a lace edging in the round.

To make the pattern look symmetrical, the shrug is started with a provisional cast-on at the back.

If you want to work the shrug for a child, make sure to adjust the number of stitches for the cast-on (length of the back).

Der Ärmelschal *Voilà* ist rechteckig und besteht aus einem glatt rechts gestrickten Rückenteil (in Reihen) und Ärmeln, die mit einem eher schmalen und kurzen Lacemuster gestrickt werden (in Runden). Die Maschenanzahl bleibt von Ärmelkante zu Ärmelkante konstant.

Rund um die Öffnung werden am Schluss nochmals Maschen aufgenommen und eine Spitzenbordüre in Runden gestrickt.

Damit der Schal symmetrisch ausfällt, muss der Rückenteil mit einem provisorischen Maschenanschlag begonnen werden.
