When the boys decided they needed hats, they were very specific about what they wanted. They even drew sketches! High on the priority list was a fold-up brim and nothing girly.

This hat was named by my son after Billie Joe Armstrong – one of his favorite rockstars. The hat is completely reversible. The hat is offered three sizes – Small (17”), Medium (20”), and Large (22”) – all circumferences are unstretched.

This hat is worked in the round. This can be done on a 16” circular with dpns used for the decreases, or you can work the entire hat magic loop style.
