From Pattern Description:
These funky tube socks have no shaping until the simple decreases for the toe. The support around the heel comes from the simple ribbed pattern that creates elasticity, hugging the contours of your foot.

Additional Yarn notes:
Made of light weight (DK) wool, acrylic and nylon mix yarn. Start with 2 x 1 3/4oz (50g) balls of yarn for a pair of socks with only one color. Add additional skeins for seperate striping.

Gauge notes
Achieving an exact gauge is not essential for this project, because the ribbing makes the knitted fabric stretchy.

Additional Pattern names
In the book there are three versions of this pattern. The single colored tube sock is called “Raspberry Ribbing.” The two colored variation is called “Lemon ‘n’ Lime,” yellow and green stripes alternating. The third shown above is called “Tutti Frutti Bands,” three different colored bands around the top and toe of the sock.

The pattern can be found in the “Simple Knits” volume of the How to Knit set.
