January Shawl for the Westknits Shawl Club. PDF file is released Saturday, January 14.
This top-down shawl combines two of my favorite things, garter stitch and stripes! I designed a green semi-solid colorway from Lorna’s Laces to combine with a black and white colorway that has the look of newspaper or birch bark. Enjoy the easy knitting of this squishy fabric while you progress towards the stranded border.
Yardage: Color A – 410yds / 375m, Color B – 200yds / 183m
Finished Measurements: 16″ / 41cm from CO to BO along center stitch, 75″ / 191cm wingspan along top edge.
Shown in: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock (80% Wool, 20% Nylon; 435yds / 398m per 100g skein)
Color A: Moss Gatherer
Color B: Newsprint
