This hat is worked from the brim up, with a provisional cast on and picot hem. If you prefer not to work a provisional cast on, simply fold and sew the picot hem.

The motif could easily be unisex. For a men’s hat, work a plain hem (simply purl the turning row, rather than working (k2tog, yo), or work in (k2, p2) ribbing.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Hat: 16.75 (19.25, 21.5, 24)” around brim.
8 (8.25, 8.5, 8.75)” tall.

Knit Picks Wool of the Andes (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 110 yards/50g): MC Haze Heather 26158, 2 (2, 3, 3) balls; CC Blackberry 24273 1 ball.

US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs or circular needles, or one size smaller than size to obtain gauge
