Inspired by the diverse colours of the interior of British Columbia, Arrowstone is an oversized, rectangle shawl that works well as a shoulder wrap, or scarf. This crochet shawl features a straight edge on the one end and a point on the other end.

This crochet pattern calls for 4 skeins of Midknit Cravings Sweet Sock 115 g (4.05 ounces)/388 meters (425 yards) per skein or comparable yarn, and 5 Bite-Size Minis 25 g/86 meters (94 yards). If you are looking to utilize your stash then you could easily substitute the 5 Bite-Size Minis with 5 different colours (25 g each) of leftover yarn.

The colours shown are 2 skeins of Vanilla, 2 skeins of Sidewalk, and 5 Bite-Size Minis in Wrought Iron, Curtain Call, Harvest, Paprika, and Smoke & Mirrors. You will also need a 3.25 mm (D) crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge), and a yarn needle.

Pre-blocked the shawl measures 43.2 cm (17”) wide, and 203.2 cm (80”) at it’s longest point. Blocked the shawl measures 53.4 cm (21”) wide, and 254 cm (100”) at it’s longest point, excluding tassels. Please note that measurements are approximate and will be affected by the gauge and the brand of yarn. For a professional look blocking is recommended.
