This was inspired by an Art Deco textile design. I loved the combination of soft colors and black, and the layout of the design translated very easily into mitered squares.

The blanket is worked in 10” x 10” squares and then sewn together; garter stitch edging is worked on the two sides that do not already have garter edging. A 29” circular needle is recommended for the edging.

The yardage for the blanket is based on 4 balls of Black, 3 balls of Ecru, and 1 ball each of five Contrast Colors, each ball having 122 yards.
