My Art Deco Orchid Shawl is an unusually worked beautiful textured shawl with a lovely drape and weight.

Shawls are an incredible fashion accessory for any season and, depending upon the yarn used, can be worn for a special occasion or to wrap up in every day.

This pattern was originally published in Inside Crochet Magazine in the December 2012 issue as ‘Orchid Shawl’ but is now available for free on Ravelry in two formats - UK and US terminology! The PDF has many more instructional photos than were published in the magazine!

NOTE: Tension/gauge is not critical for this project. Different hook sizes and yarn weights can be used to achieve a lighter or heavier finished item.

Remember though, that if you have any questions or queries whatsoever that I am often here on Ravelry, so please message me and I’ll be happy to see if I can help! :)

UPDATE OCTOBER 2013: The pattern is also available in its published form for free on the Inside Crochet website. They changed the wording slightly and added a chart - obviously I cannot use these in my version due to copyright issues.
