My daughter loves to do the adult coloring pages and said out loud that she needed something big enough to hold all her art pens. So, being the crocheting mom I am, I stitched her up this holder. It measures about 15″ in circumference and is 4 1/2″ tall. It is a very simple project and my daughter just loves it!

This holder can be customized to any size you wish, just stop increasing and work R6 then R7 until you reach the height you desire then work R15.

I highly suggest that you do use 2 strands of yarn held together for this project so that it has the stiffness it needs to stay upright.
