Loose-fitting, open-front, cropped kimono knit in double moss stitch and basket weave stitch. Sweater is knit back and forth on circular needles, with very little finishing required.

From the pattern: “Sweater is made in 3 sections: Center strip is knit first from back to front. Side pieces are picked up and knit out from the center. Size can easily be adjusted by either knitting the center strip narrower or by knitting the side pieces narrower.”
